Rules, Rules, and More Rules

       Wow! That's the best word that I know of to describe what my life has been like since my last post. We have had some of the most confusing assignments yet.  I would complete an assignment and feel like I had followed all the rules only to find out that I had done something incorrectly. I still do not feel that I have a firm understanding of all the rules. I have found DVDs to be the most confusing to record.  However, after making a recent trip to the library and using the online card catalog, I saw the elements that we had been using in class in my searches.  The crazy thing was that I could understand it. I am not sure if I will ever be able to catalog without using a book or my notes to help guide me through the process. I hope I am not the only one that feels this way.  I know that the next part we will tackle is the MARC records.  I am sure that this will be just as challenging.  So, I am going to keep a positive attitude and enter this next part of our journey with this saying... I like a good challenge!
